Gophers
Gophers dig burrows in lawns, gardens and other landscape. They are very destructive. A single gopher can dislodge upwards of a ton of soil in a year!
If left unchecked they will continue to destroy the landscape leading to unsightly conditions and damaging vegetation. Their activity can be identified by "horseshow" shaped mounds and dead vegetation.
Gopher control is of the utmost importance especially for commercial landscape areas of high usage and visibility such as golf courses.
Moles
Moles are another common landscape pest. Their unsightly mounds and tunnels create problems for homeowners and commercial grounds managers alike.
Their activity can be identified by raised tunnels pushing up from the lanscape and volcano shaped mounds. Raised edges are also very common around the edges of lawns and turf.
Moles can be annoying and destructive pests due to their ability to disfigure landscape and damage plants and their roots.
Voles
Meadow Voles or "Meadow Mice" are small rodents that inhabit landscape, gardens, and fields.
Voles create burrows in the ground and can be identified by multiples small holes with connected trails or runways between them.
These prolific little animals can be extremely destructive to vegetation. They may even gnaw the bark of young trees and ornamentals causing damage or death to the plant.
